Mike Sims
Mike is the Founder, owner and principal consultant at Winsome Co. He is an award-winning executive leader with 25+ years of proven experience in branding, marketing, communications, advertising, creative direction, graphic design, copywriting, speechwriting, digital media, video production and live event production.
Mike moves people and ideas into better states of being — working to constantly connect the dots between big ideas, creative strategy and project execution.
Working seamlessly between dreaming and doing, Mike brings contextual intelligence to every project. He reads people and reads the room; he listens to what is said and what goes unsaid; he captures key ideas and future vision and shapes them into brand activations that represent the very best about his clients and their organizations.
Among Mike's favorite roles to play is that of a servant leader. Owning faults and re-directing praise, Mike sets the bar high for himself and his teams using a dynamic mix of empathy, communication and collaboration. He especially enjoys mentoring and developing young talent.
Mike holds a B.A. degree in Communications & English from Southwestern University, in Georgetown, Texas. He lives in The Woodlands, Texas, with his wife, Jennifer. Together they have two grown sons and a daughter-in-law. When he’s not working, Mike enjoys fitness, travel, cooking outdoors, and live music.
